Having started DJing in his second year of college when he was studying his Hotel Management at the famous Institute WGSHA at Manipal University during the year 1999. Before he could get into the clubbing scenes he use to do small time parties and gigs. He got his first ever break when the Club Manager of Thunderbowl Mangalore heard him spin along with a local DJ for a food festival AROMA. After that he was called by the manager and was appointed at the Resident DJ for Thunderbowl. After that Ashmac kept on doing Djing full time along side with his studies.
